Short, because the product is short.

1. What you are buying

A position on a public leaderboard, ranked by the total you have paid. If that position is #1, your listing is additionally served into the single ad slot on yout.com for as long as you hold #1. Anyone can take #1 from you at any time by paying more, and we do not warn you before they do.

2. Bids are final

There are no refunds. The board is a public record of what was paid, and reversing a payment would make that record a lie. Being outbid is not a fault, a failure or a reason for a refund — it is the product.

3. Nothing is guaranteed

We publish the traffic and click figures we measure, and we publish how we measured them. They are measurements of the past, not promises about your campaign. A bid buys placement, not clicks, customers or rankings.

4. What you may submit

  1. A working link to something real that you are entitled to promote.
  2. No malware, phishing, deceptive downloads or impersonation.
  3. No adult content, no content illegal where we or yout.com operate.
  4. No trademark or copyright infringement.

We may remove a listing that breaks these rules, or that puts yout.com at risk, without a refund. That is the one case where money is kept and the listing does not stay up.

5. Your copy

You give us permission to display your listing name, tagline and link on this site and in the yout.com ad slot, and to machine-translate the tagline into other languages so each visitor reads it in theirs. We do not claim ownership of anything else.

6. Availability

This is a small site. It may go down. If the yout.com slot is unavailable the banner falls back to house ads, and time lost that way is not credited — practically, the amount at stake on a $2 minimum bid is not worth either of us accounting for.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything connected to this service is limited to what you paid us.
